Moderate to Heavy Rains Expected Across Country Today

Kathmandu: Nepal is set to experience moderate to heavy rainfall across various regions today, with light rain already occurring this morning in parts of Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
Forecasts indicate that heavier rains are expected to develop later this afternoon, particularly in Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in several locations within Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. The ongoing influence of monsoon winds is driving this weather pattern.
As night falls, the weather is anticipated to be partly to mostly cloudy, with the possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in a few locations within Madhesh province.
